Arundel Mansions

Oakley Products recently completed a full redesign of a charming period property at Arundel Mansions, Fulham, SW6. These multiple apartments focused on breathing new life into the interiors while staying true to the character of the building, balancing classic architectural details with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic.

The Design Vision

The properties were reimagined with a strong emphasis on natural textures, light, and balance. Clean lines, carefully curated furniture, and warm tones make the home feel inviting yet modern. The design plays with contrasts — such as the sharp black of the original cast-iron fireplaces against crisp white walls — complemented by bespoke joinery and refined finishes throughout.

Large windows flood the rooms with natural light, highlighting the bespoke cabinetry, shelving, and elegant fixtures that enhance the flow of the space. The open-plan living and dining area is a showcase of understated sophistication, where every element feels thoughtfully placed without overcrowding the room.

Flooring: Decka Plank Texas

One of the standout features of this project is the consistent use of Decka Plank Texas, a beautiful smoked engineered oak board that runs seamlessly throughout the property — including the living spaces, bedrooms, and kitchen.

This flooring choice ties the entire home together, giving it a sense of cohesion and warmth, while also providing durability and practicality for modern living. The smoked finish of Decka Plank Texas introduces depth and character, complementing both the neutral tones of the walls and the warmth of the wooden joinery.
