Decka Plank Georgia, 240 x 14/4mm, Brushed & Oiled, Character Grade.
Advances in engineered flooring technology mean that boards can now be longer and wider than ever. A wide floor enhances the atmosphere of a room, particularly in large spaces, and gives a modern and open feel to any space.
The ply backing of an engineered floor with a hardwood veneer glued on top gives Decka Plank Alaska the same beautiful appearance of a solid wood floor but with superior construction, greater stability, and compatibility with under floor heating.
Our engineered board has been produced using multi ply backing, manufactured to European standard EN 326-2. The adhesive used to bond the board is an E1 category, PUR adhesive (formaldehyde free) to DIN/EN 14257 and DIN/EN 204 low emission glue which is heat and water resistant in accordance with BS EN 14342:2005+A1. The top layer is kiln dried to between 8-12% moisture content.
The formaldehyde emissions are: 0,01 ppm, pentachlorophenol emissions: <0.8 mg/kg.
Thermal conductivity (W/mK) is 0,10W/mK.
Suitable for secret fixing to ply, battens or joist subfloor, and fully bonded installation to a screed subfloor. The board is supplied with a micro bevel along the length of the board, factory lacquer ready to use.
Compatible for use in conjunction with underfloor heating the board complies with BS 8201:2011, rated in accordance with BS EN 13501-1, and is classified D fl -S1 when laid as a fixed floor on a structural subfloor or E fl- S1 when laid on battens or joists for minimal smoke production.
Engineered: 2 part Engineered floor with a Hardwood top surface bonded to a multilayer waterproof Birch Plywood. All floors are Tongue and Groove with Ends Matched unless stated otherwise.
Micro Bevelled: Micro Bevelled means a very small v shape can be seen on the long sides of the boards. The ends have no bevel.
Nail Fitting: Nail fixing is usually done via a nail gun, e.g. Porta-Nailer, where a serrated nail is inserted through the tongue at 45 degrees.
Stick Down: Sticking involves the use of an adhesive to bond the wood flooring to either a concrete/screed sub floor or to a ply/chipboard sub floor.
Under Floor Heating: This product is compatible for use over an electric or water under floor heating system. The maximum temperature must not exceed 27 degrees Celsius at the floor surface.
